On September 18 2025, the VOYAGERS Health-Tech community will come together for THE FIX: a hands-on, practical, mind-expanding, friendship-building, exploratory, curiosity-led, science-based, creative, artistic, participatory, decentralised, experimental, edgy, live, risky, urgent and unpredictable gathering of the talented people working on health technologies.
THE FIX is not a conference. Don’t expect dull panels or crappy coffee. Health-tech is too important to waste time. Instead, we designed a festival to help participants make new friends, to experience science in action, to learn and share their knowledge, to inspire and be inspired. Bring your most engaged and curious festival mindset.
As well as speakers, THE FIX will feature a rich day of activities, including inspiring stories, expert workshops, product demonstrations, musical performances, art installations, a participant-led “unconference”, tours of the Harwell Science Campus, a startup pitch competition, speed networking, an evening party — the hottest event on campus… and much more!
You’ll be in great company: SOSV’s Bill Liao, Baseimmune’s Dr Ariane Gomes, Oxford Cancer Analytics’s Dr Peter Liu, Béa Fertility’s Tess Cosad, Patients Know Best’s Mohammad Al-Ubaydli, Imperial College London’s Dr David Erritzoe, EveryDoctor’s Dr Julia Patterson, the BBC’s Lara Lewington, Sanome’s Benedikt von Thüngen, and others will be speaking, and we will have workshops from the likes of Together Digital’s Liam Cahill and Humanity’s Peter Ward, and conversation circles led by Imperial’s Professor David Nutt and Daye’s Valentina Milanova, among many others. Our festival themes include AI in healthcare, longevity and anti-aging, psychedelics and mental health, women’s health and fem-tech, innovations in diagnostics, and health-system innovation.
Last year, at THE FIX‘s sister climate-tech festival, THE HEAT, participants met fusion startups, tasted future foods, witnessed carbon capture, experienced climate-robotics demonstrations… and enjoyed a climate-film festival, music performances and a startup pitch contest.
